One of Brazil's brightest young talents was given a brutal welcome in his first training session with the national team.
The Real Madrid bound 17-year-old was called up to the senior squad for the first time ahead of the nation's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.
Endrick has been heavily involved with Palmeiras and recently played a vital role in their 4-3 win against Botafogo last week.
"I will bring dedication, joy, and happiness. I hope to contribute these qualities," the youngster said when arriving at Brazil's training camp.
In his first session Endrick trained with high-profile names such as Marquinhos, Bruno Guimaraes and soon-to-be-teammate Vinicius Junior.
However despite it being his first session not all of his teammates gave him an easy welcome, as Arsenal's Gabriel Magalhaes knocked him off the ball with a brutal challenge, as seen below:
Many of Endrick's teammates have been in awe of the talented youngster including Rodrygo, who said: "Endrick is very strong, very fast and has a brutal explosiveness.
"He is very dangerous. He scored many goals in the juniors. He has to be very different to play here at the age of 17. We always talk, not just now. Sometimes he asks us things from there (Brazil) and now we're better being closer."
Endrick scored 165 goals in 169 games at youth level and first came to prominence in the 2022 Sao Paulo Youth Football Cup, where he scored seven goals in seven games.
