Without football stadiums, the sport of football would be played in random fields across the world, with angry farmers standing impatiently on the sidelines waiting for the game to end, as players bobbed and weaved to avoid cows and sheep and other animals.
We don't think about it very often, but they are an essential part of the game, and as such deserve a little appreciation every now and again. Sure, we sometimes say 'that stadium is lovely' or 'wow, that's nice' but how often do we sit down for a period of time and design a quiz based purely on stadia?
