Fans believe that the Carabao Cup draw was rigged.
This week the fourth round matches were played as teams booked their places in the quarter finals, which will take place in December.
Middlesbrough and Port Vale, the lowest ranked sides left in the tournament, secured their passage to the last eight on Tuesday while Newcastle United, West Ham United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Fulham and Everton completed the line up on Wednesday.
After Newcastle's emphatic 3-0 win away at Manchester United, Sky Sports held the draw for the quarter final in which the following was confirmed:
As with any draw, fans were not happy and some even claimed that it had been tampered with.
"What a rigged draw that is," said one person.
"Another rigged draw. This competition is a joke. Scrap the league cup," said a second.
Another added: "Carabao Cup draw is 100 per cent rigged.
"Carabao cup draw is rigged and I'm not even joking!!!"
