The Football Association (FA) have launched an investigation into events at Elland Road on Sunday where Manchester United attacker
Anthony Elanga was struck by an object.
Elanga was hit by a missile thrown from the home end as United celebrated their third goal during their 4-2 win against bitter rivals Leeds United.
Harry Maguire opened the scoring for the away side before Bruno Fernandes doubled their lead. Leeds fought back valiantly with two goals in 51 seconds from Rodrigo and Raphinha and quickly levelled proceedings.
But Brazilian midfielder Fred restored United's lead in the 70th minute - which was when Elanga was struck by a missile inside the ground.
The Swedish under-21 international got on the scoresheet himself, adding the fourth and final goal as Ralf Rangnick's side secured an important win in their quest to finish in the top four.
At full-time the youngster could be seen pointing to the badge on his United shirt in front of the Leeds supporters to celebrate their derby day victory.

After the game, Rangnick revealed that he was expecting an investigation of some sorts from Leeds. He told
Sky Sports: "As far as I know, there is some investigation going on from Leeds United.
"I don’t think that anything happened in the end. Anthony Elanga looked well and he was happy about scoring his goal.
"Obviously things like that should not happen and I think even more so this game. The atmosphere was great."
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa admitted he did not see the incident, but strongly condemned what had happened.
He said: "Any excess other than sporting should not be approved. I can’t evaluate what you spoke about because I didn’t see it."
