Dutch youngster Mohamed Ihattaren is considering retiring from football at the age of just 19 due to suffering from depression, reports

The highly-rated midfielder was signed by Juventus in the summer after making 74 appearances for PSV Eindhoven, where he was labelled as one of the hottest prospects in the Netherlands before being loaned out to Sampdoria at the start of this season.
But as per
Oldjuve.com, he had yet to make an appearance for Sampdoria amid concerns about his fitness levels - putting him on a tailored programme to make sure he was ready for the start of the season.
However according to reports in Italy, Ihattaren has not been seen in Genoa since 12 October and has returned to his native Holland due to family problems.

In 2019, Ihattaren's father sadly passed away, with the youngster's grief leading to him suffering from depression, which has now led to him considering whether he wants to continue his footballing career.
Dutch media have also been unable to make contact with the 19-year-old since rumours of him returning to Holland, with no sightings of him in his hometown of Utrecht.
As of yet, neither Juventus or Sampdoria have released a statement on the whereabouts or current situation of Ihattaren.
