A mural of Cristiano Ronaldo has been removed from the advertising boards outside Old Trafford.
Video footage posted to social media showed workers taking Ronaldo down as they appeared to carry out work on the exterior outside the stadium.

It follows in the aftermath of the 37-year-old's explosive interview with Piers Morgan, The journalist has been releasing short clips over the course of the week in which Ronaldo has given a damning assessment of the current state of affairs at the club.
As well as citing the lack of progression United have made since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement, Ronaldo also publicly called out manager Erik ten Hag and former teammate Wayne Rooney.

He also took a dig at the lack of investment into modernising the club, claiming that both the training ground and Old Trafford hadn't been advanced since he first left the club in 2009.
The forward has been looking to leave United sine the summer and the Red Devils are now reportedly terminating his contract in January, six months before it's due to expire.
Ten Hag had initially been willing to accommodate the forward in his plans, but his latest interview has left the Dutchman left than impressed, who wants to cut ties with the club's highest earner as soon as possible.
A lack of any concrete interest has delayed any potential departure from the North West. Ronaldo is now on international duty with Portugal for the World Cup.
Upon arrival an interaction between him and Bruno Fernandes was recorded, with many describing their handshake as awkward, but Fernandes responded to the speculation and played down any reports of a spat between the pair.
