Clarence Seedorf shows he’s still got it with classy touch on sideline

Proof that you never really lose your touch, providing you were once a world class player.

Clarence Seedorf's playing days are unfortunately over. The former AC Milan, Real Madrid and Ajax midfielder enjoyed a career of near-unparalleled success and since retiring has made a swift move into management. After a four month spell on the bench at the San Siro and a six month spell coaching China League One side Shenzhen, the Dutchman now finds himself as coach of La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna. While he now spends his days drawing up tactical plans and training drills, a clip from a recent Depor game suggested that he could still do a job on the pitch despite hanging up his boots four years ago. The moment in question took place during Depor's game away to Athletic Bilbao on Saturday, a match which Seedorf's side won 3-2.   Standing on the sideline as the ball was cleared by Swiss defender Fabian Schaar, the 42-year-old calmly watched the ball as it fell from the sky, arms crossed the entire time, before deftly sticking out a toe and killing it dead with one small touch. As can be seen in the clip, his players and the crowd were clearly impressed, with mouths agape at the sight of one of the coolest sights you'll see for a while.
