Barcelona have had a £50m bid for Willian rejected by Chelsea. The Catalan club held talks with Willian's representatives but Chelsea are reluctant to engage in any negotiations, according to the Mail.
The La Liga champions are keen to bring Willian to the Nou Camp as they believe he would add depth to their squad and link up well with his international teammate Philippe Coutinho.
Willian is a polarising player among Chelsea fans. To some, £50m for a 29-year-old would represent good value but others believe he is a key player to the squad.
Manchester United are also keen to sign the winger and are waiting in the wings to pounce on the chance to reunited him with José Mourinho. It is understood that United will be willing to offer even more than £50m for the player, as they are desperate to bolster their options on the right wing.
Willian is currently in Russia with the Brazil squad for the 2018 World Cup. Brazil have qualified for the Round of 16, where they will play Mexico after finishing top of their group.
