Amrabat was linked with a number of clubs around Europe after a string of excellent performances saw him help guide Morocco to the semi finals of the World Cup - becoming the first African nation to go that far in the tournament. The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona were all interested but the Italian side dug their heels in and said that he would not be leaving. Chelsea were busy on both the incomings and departures front as midfielder Jorginho left, moving to north London to join rivals Arsenal.
