Camila Cabello hit out at “rude” football fans who sang during her live performance in the build up to the Champions League final on Saturday.

The singer was performing at the Stade de France in Paris prior to kick-off, but her performance was marred by serious concerns of security outside of the ground.

Kick off was delayed by over 30 minutes as fans struggled to gain entry, with multiple supporters saying they were tear gassed and pepper sprayed by police officers while others were turned away, despite having tickets.

Liverpool issued a statement requesting a formal investigation while UEFA claimed fans with ‘fake tickets’ were the cause of the problem. The French Interior Minister, Gerald Darmanin, also blamed ‘British supporters’ for the trouble.

Meanwhile, Merseyside Police praised fans for their ‘exemplary behaviour’ shown at the turnstiles and for remaining patient throughout the night.

As Cabello performed, large sections of the Liverpool end were empty, but those inside the ground – including Real Madrid supporters – chose to support their respective side by singing club songs instead.

That didn’t sit well with the singer, who in a now-deleted post, complained that fans sang over her and didn’t listen during the live show.

“Playing back our performance and I can’t believe people were singing their teams anthems so loud during our performance. Like my team and I worked tirelessly for so long to bring the right vibes and give a good show,” she said.

The 25-year-old then followed up moments later saying: “Very rude but whatever. I’M GLAD U GUYS LOVED IT,” before also deleting that tweet.

Real Madrid went on to win the game after Vinicius Junior’s second half goal secured Los Blancos a 14th Champions League title.
