In their most recent update, Glazer said that the sale process was "going forward" ahead of his trip to Qatar. Speaking after France's 2-0 win against Morocco on Wednesday he said: "It’s not necessarily a sale, it’s a process and we’re going forward with the process, so we’ll see what happens.
"That’s the update, it’s the process and the process is proceeding."
Glazer was sat in the VIP section where only invitees of either the Qatari state, FIFA or commercial partners ate allowed to sit, however it isn't known as to who invited him.
Avram Glazer is the son of Malcolm Glazer, who bought United in 2005. Alongside his brother Joel, Avram over the day-to-day running of the club after Malcom had suffered a stroke.
