Atletico Madrid's home kit for the 2022/23 season is reportedly the worst selling shirt in history.
The LaLiga giants have made two significant changes to their shirt this year, most noticeably ditching their traditional red and white stripes for a a curved line.
But Spanish outlet Confidencial Digital have said that fans are less than impressed and prefer the old school route of straight lines on the shirt.
Another area in which fans are disappointed is the alteration of the famous club crest. On the old design the crest had a yellow outline, but with the new one, the line has been removed to give it a more modern look.
Insiders at Atletico have also claimed that shirt sales are down by 40 per cent and aren't surprised by the drop in sales given the reaction to the kit on social media.
Recently a shirt commemorating 75 years of Los Colchoneros went on sale to supporters - selling out in just a matter of minutes.
Given the lack of clamour for the new kit, Atleti are already pondering a return to their usual look for the 2023/24 campaign.
Atletico hoping for better league campaign
Diego Simeone's side will be hoping for a much better year this time round after they finished third, one year on after winning the Spanish top-flight.
Luis Suárez has left the Wanda Metropolitano to return to boyhood club Nacional in Uruguay while Atletico have signed three players so far.
Nahuel Molina has joined from Serie A outfit Udinese, Samuel Lino from Gil Vicente of Portugal and finally the addition of Axel Witsel on a free transfer after the Belgian left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season.
