Atletico Madrid fans have introduced a new method in which fans of the club will be able to bid for shirts worn by players during games. Supporters will now go head-to-head with each other on an app at full-time in order to get their favourite player's shirt. Fans will have to log in to the Momento Market App in a digital auction. "Thanks to this association, the club's new partner AC Momento will be in charge of organising this season the auctions of the shirts worn by Atletico Madrid players during a selection of the season's matches," a statement on Atletico's website said. "To access this unique opportunity, fans will have to download the Momento Market application and through it they will be able to opt for live auctions during the matches. Atletico's change of policy comes after Dutch side Ajax recently announced that they were banning signs asking for shirts due to the fire safety hazard they possess. Whether supporters will actually want the shirt is another question.
