Ryan Giggs looks set to be named the new Wales manager on a four-year contract and the news should be announced at today's press conference in Cardiff.
Following Chris Coleman's departure to Sunderland, the former Manchester United winger looks set to pip Craig Bellamy, Osian Roberts and Mark Bowen for the position. Of course, this won't be the first time that Giggs will be in the dugout - he was Manchester United's caretaker manager at the end of the 2013-14 season following the sacking of David Moyes. After spending two seasons as Louis van Gaal's assistant, the Welshman left the club when Jose Mourinho was appointed manager at Old Trafford. Despite the fact that Giggs won 64 caps and captained his country, the winger was heavily criticised for regularly missing friendly matches. While discussing Giggs' imminent appointment on Match of the Day 2, Alan Shearer had no qualms about cracking a joke about that very fact. https://twitter.com/BBCSportWales/status/952797382068056065 Plenty of people loved Shearer's no-nonsense delivery. Hell, it's nothing compared to how he deals with some trolls on Twitter! https://twitter.com/SuffolkGeordie/status/952686144818380800 https://twitter.com/emebee7/status/952685952958435328 https://twitter.com/Jonny_morgs/status/952802704048324608 https://twitter.com/Stephen46360005/status/952684754301870081 As for the other people?
