The name of the person in question is as yet unknown, but was shared by Twitter user @shutuplad, who shared the betting slip with the caption: "Moment of silence for the lad let down by Atletico Madrid for €249,553.58. Sickening." The bet was on 13 European matches over the past week or so, and every single one of them came through, except for the Atletico Madrid-RB Leipzig game. At odds of 2445-1, the €100 bet would have seen a return of almost €250,000. Instead, he was left with nothing more than a piece of paper and, presumably, a lifelong hatred of Tyler Adams. Adams' goal put Leipzig through to the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time in the club's history, where they will face another first time semi-finalist in Paris Saint-Germain.
