One would have imagined that no one was more upset by Atletico Madrid's defeat to Red Bull Leipzig in Thursday's Champions League quarter-final than manager Diego Simeone.
His side had equalised against the Bundesliga team and were going to extra-time when Tyler Adams' late deflected strike knocked them out.

Judging by this man's accumulator, though, there was at least one person who was more gutted by the loss than anyone at Atletico Madrid.
The name of the person in question is as yet unknown, but was shared by Twitter user @shutuplad, who shared the betting slip with the caption: "Moment of silence for the lad let down by Atletico Madrid for €249,553.58. Sickening."
The bet was on 13 European matches over the past week or so, and every single one of them came through, except for the Atletico Madrid-RB Leipzig game.
At odds of 2445-1, the €100 bet would have seen a return of almost €250,000. Instead, he was left with nothing more than a piece of paper and, presumably, a lifelong hatred of Tyler Adams.
Adams' goal put Leipzig through to the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time in the club's history, where they will face another first time semi-finalist in Paris Saint-Germain.
