How does this even happen?

FIFA's live stream of the Club World Cup semi-final between Chelsea and Al Hilal was bizarrely taken down due to a copyright infringement claim by TMG, as reported by Itlain outlet Calcio Finanza. The report states that at the start of the stream, a message appeared on the screens of people watching FIFA's own live stream which read, 'This video is no longer available due to a copyright infringement claim by TMG'. Considering the event is organised and managed directly by FIFA - which means that the governing body owns the rights to the broadcast - it is extremely confusing as to why copyright infringement could be an issue.
