Fantasy Football managers crushed by Spurs team to play Swansea

This annoyed a lot of people on Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur made some changes to their team to play Swansea City at Wembley on Saturday afternoon, and pissed off hundreds of thousands of Fantasy Football players in the process.

The game has millions of players on the Premier League’s official website, and right now Ben Davies is the king of Fantasy Football.

The Spurs full-back has had a brilliant start to the season, scoring once, setting up two goals and keeping two clean sheets. This has earned him 32 points on Fantasy Football, more than any other player from the opening four games of the season.

His impressive form, affordable price (5.7m) and Spurs’ home tie with Swansea prompted many to bring him into their side. Yet, Mauricio Pochettino clearly has a cruel sense of humour, or doesn’t consider the fortunes of your Fantasy team when selecting his side, because he rested Davies for Saturday’s game.

The Welsh full-back was named on the bench for the match, which left over 345,000 people who bought him on Fantasy Football this week feeling very annoyed.

It’s almost as if Pochettino couldn’t care less about your Fantasy team.
