It's certainly not a day to remember for Tottenham Hotspur as they finish up at St James Park with a 4-0 loss.
Despite a fairly end to end opening to the game, Newcastle took control as the first half progressed scoring two goals in two minutes.
Alexander Isak knocked one into the back of the net in the 30th minute, followed by Anthony Gordon in the 32nd, causing Micky Van de Ven to be massively criticised online during the break.
After Spurs’ sudden capitulation, fans were quick to point out that Isak has dominated Van de Ven.
Going into the second half, Spurs fans couldn't believe it as Van de Ven made a similar mistake, causing Newcastle to go 3-0 up.
Then in the dying moments of the match, Fabian Schar scored a fourth.
Naturally, X became awash with yet more criticism for Van de Ven with some labelling his performance as the worst in Premier League history.
Oh dear.
