Even Dejan Lovren must be embarrassed about this.
The Croatian defender has improved immeasurably for Liverpool this term with the change of manager seemingly a key part of the former Southampton man’s renaissance at the heart of the Reds’ defence.
However not even the most die-hard of the Anfield faithful would have the nerve to try and argue that the defender was one of the best players in the Premier League last month.
