You spent hours upon days carefully assessing form, monitoring fitness, and weighing up the opposition. You think and rethink your options in the most meticulous manner in order to ensure optimum performance. As a manager, it's never easy deciding who to play and who to drop on a weekly basis. But you do it because you care, and you have an unquenchable thirst for success.
And then the likes of Jurgen Klopp fuck everything up.
The 2017/18 season may still be in its infancy, but the Liverpool manager is having to rest players already with the extra fixture congestion of Champions League qualifiers against Hoffenheim. He may be juggling the dual challenges of European and domestic football but that's not reason to piss off fantasy league managers around the country.
The German decided to bench Mohamed Salah in order to keep the speedy attacker fresh for the second leg of the Champions League qualifier on Wednesday. But this didn't help those who had picked the player in their fantasy teams - or even made him captain.
We like Klopp but he's walking a fine line here. Please consult us amateur coaches first before dropping a player in future. Please and thank you.
