Love him or loathe him, it's hard to ignore Mike Dean - and that's just the way he likes it.
On Monday, whilst officiating the late kickoff between West Ham United and Manchester United at the London Stadium, the Wirral-based official made it all about him - as per usual.
Leaving both sets of fans utterly mystified, Dean chose to send off the home side's Sofiane Feghouli for a clumsy but largely innocuous challenge on Phil Jones. Even Jones seemed confused.
After that incident, he had an all-round shocker. Gary Neville went as far as to suggest he "went to pieces a little bit", which is a damning assessment for a man of Dean's experience.
But alas, the Premier League's most look-at-me ref is no doubt enjoying all the attention regardless. He clearly loves the limelight and the notoriety it all brings.
That said, one Dean moment that everyone is loving is wholly unintentional - we're assuming. It turns out that his whistle-blowing ways are remarkably similar to a trance classic.
A few eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Dean's toots during Monday's game were eerily reminiscent of 2001 club classic 'Sandstorm' by Finnish DJ and record producer Darude.
Although perhaps 'shitstorm' would be more apt...
