Everyone’s delighted to see Falcao back from the dead with a Champions League goal

Not a bad goal at all.

Tom Victor

You could be forgiven for writing off Radamel Falcao after his struggles in the Premier League.

The Colombian forward struggled to make an impact at either Manchester United and Chelsea, and many felt his injuries had finally caught up with him for good.

But Falcao has laughed at that idea this season, returning to parent club Monaco after those two loan spells and proceeding to score at will.

He made it 20 goals in 26 games with an equaliser against Manchester City in the Champions League, stooping to head past Willy Caballero not long after Raheem Sterling had given the Premier League club a first-half lead.

Some were quick to point to his inability to make an impact in England.

Others, meanwhile, were just amazed to see that he is still able to play at this level at all.

It’s good to see him back fit and firing, that’s for sure.

It’s been a while since he got in the scoresheet in Manchester.

But it might not be the last time.

United fans were loving it, that’s for sure.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, eh?
