In the days and weeks following the Manchester bombing, Oasis’ Don’t Look Back In Anger has become someone of an unofficial anthem for both the city and the country standing together.

Both sets of fans joined in, and it was a very touching moment of unity and strength between two nations both hit by terror in recent times.

The French fans also joined in with God Save The Queen.
It was a particularly poignant, as the area surrounding the Stade de France was the site of part of the Paris attacks in November 2015. At the England – France friendly at Wembley Stadium that was less than a week after those attacks, English fans sang along with the French national anthem – so to see the French fans do the same was especially touching.
