Embarrassing stat highlights how Bayern Munich ran rings around Arsenal

Not a glove, or stud, on an any player

If you’re going to go down, you may as well go down swinging.

Sadly for Arsene Wenger, his troops didn’t put up much of a fight in their 5-1 hammering at the hands of Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

The Gunners were desperately poor from the opening minute to the last, as they were cut apart by David Alaba, Thomas Muller and their team-mates to slump to another loss in this year’s Champions League.

Arsenal were not only outplayed though, and what will frustrate their supporters even more than a spanking by one of the best teams in Europe, is how poor their efforts to get stuck into their opponents were…

Munich’s passing and movement clearly had the Arsenal defence in such a state that the players could hardly get close enough to make a tackle, not to mind successful one.

And Peter Schmeichel doesn’t want Pep to take over at Manchester United.
