The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index (PPI) shows that West Ham new boy Dimitri Payet is leading the way in terms of new signings making an instant impact.
What's fascinating is the relative absence of top name players or big clubs - of the top 10, only Manchester City's Raheem Sterling and Liverpool's Christian Benteke cost more than £11m.
Three of those listed cost their clubs nada, whilst half are either Leicester City or Crystal Palace players, pointing to the fact that both clubs bought extremely shrewdly during the window.
