We all know how this usually ends

If there’s a major sporting event happening, you can almost guarantee that Drake has put a bet on it.

Once again, the 36-year-old has decided to put his money where his mouth is and has decided to place a huge wager on the outcome of the highly-anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury on Sunday.

The five-time Grammy winner posted a screenshot of his bet to his Instagram account which revealed that he placed an eye-watering $400,000 at odds of 3.60 for Paul to beat Fury via knockout.

If Drake’s bet is to come off, it will see him pocket $1,440,000. That’s a lot of money.

Paul will be hoping that the infamous “Drake curse” doesn’t come back to haunt him.

For those unfamiliar, the Drake curse has becoming something of a meme in the sporting world, with people saying that the Canadian brings bad luck to whoever he places a large bet on.

Sporting stars such as Serena Williams, Jadon Sancho and Sergio Aguero have all fallen victim to the curse.

He isn’t the only one to put money on the line either. Tyson Fury – brother of Tommy – has also placed a wager on the fight, which takes place in Saudi Arabia.

The Gypsy King told iFL TV that he has placed “100 racks” on his younger sibling to win the showdown, winning the fight via stoppage.

Paul appears to be the bookies favourite heading into the fight, which is finally taking place after the previous two scheduled bouts were called off.
