Most people wouldn't think to compare Conor McGregor to Dada 5000, but Dominick Cruz isn't most people.
The ever-insightful UFC bantamweight champion was speaking ahead of his title defence against Urijah Faber at UFC 199 when he was asked for his thoughts on the recent Bellator contest between Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 which left the loser technically dead for a short time.
But rather than dismiss the fight entirely as a joke, Cruz admitted he could see the appeal of seeing two men who just "don't give a f**k" going at each other.
After all, he says, that's just what Conor McGregor's fight with Nate Diaz was. The only difference is that McGregor and Diaz are two highly-skilled athletes on the top of their game, while the Bellator pair were clearly not in shape to fight.
