Delicious Isco assist helps Cristiano Ronaldo break another record

Ronaldo and Isco were on fire

Cristiano Ronaldo and Isco have combined to leave Real Madrid one point away from clinching La Liga.

The Madrid pair were seriously impressive in the 4-1 win over Celta Vigo on Wednesday night, a result that leaves Zinedine Zidane’s side on the cusp of a first league title in five years

Isco was involved in both of Ronaldo’s goals on the night. For his first, the former Manchester United forward smashed home a thunderous shot with his left foot – a goal which means he is now the all-time top scorer in the top five European leagues.

This strike meant he surpassed former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea striker Jimmy Greaves’ record of 366 goals.

Ronaldo scored his 368th league goal in the second half, thanks to a brilliant pass from Isco. The Spanish midfielder evaded two challenges before sliding a perfectly weighted pass through to his teammate.

Ronaldo, again with his left foot, did the rest.

Ronaldo was then nice enough to prove that he is actually human with this miss from a couple of yards out.
