David Silva celebrates winning the title with his baby son
This is a truly heart-warming moment.
Manchester City clinched Premier League this afternoon, following Manchester United’s shock defeat to West Brom.
And as you’d expect, there’s been some pretty entertaining celebrations from the City players. Benjamin Mendy, as you’d expect, brought the #SharkTeam banter.
But this is definitely the most moving. David Silva shared a photo of his baby son Mateo.
Mateo was born prematurely in December, and Silva missed first team action this season, as he stayed in Spain as Mateo fought for his life.

As well as winning the league twice before, Silva has won the World Cup, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Copa Del Rey – but this was clearly one of the most special wins.

What a lovely moment.
