Darren Till speaks to JOE at UFC 244 open workout

Wayne Farry

The Liverpudlian returns to the Octagon on November 3

After two successive defeats in the Octagon, Darren Till will be looking to return to winning ways as he faces off against Kelvin Gastelum at Madison Square Garden in November.

The fight will be Till’s middleweight debut in the UFC, after two defeats in a row in the welterweight division, to Tyron Woodley and Jorge Masvidal.

Speaking to JOE at an open workout ahead of UFC 244, Till spoke of his enthusiasm for his current situation, and his excitement at his growing family.

He also took aim at people who feel confident enough to offer himself, and top level fighters like him, unsolicited advice about their lifestyle and their training.

Till also discussed his regrets, such as perhaps not becoming a dentist.

Watch UFC 244: MASVIDAL vs. DIAZ  on Saturday 2nd November, with prelims live on UFC FIGHT PASS at 10.15pm and the main card exclusively live on BT Sport 1 at 2am.
