Danny Ings signs for EFL club

Ings is back in the game!

Ings, who most recently played for Sheffield United, has been out of contract since the end of last season.

The Blades swooped for Ings in August last year, signing the striker on a one-year deal after an initial training period.

The deal included an option for the player to extend his stay at Bramall Lane, but the club decided not to activate the terms.

The former Premier League man, who has featured heavily for the likes of Burnley, Liverpool, Southampton and Aston Villa, is now playing in League 1.

The 34 year old signed his contract for Wycombe Wanderers this morning ahead of a move to Adams Park.

He could be set to make his debut when the club host Reading on Saturday afternoon, having previously almost signed for fellow third-tier outfit Leicester City this summer.

He'll no doubt be back amongst the goals at a new level.
