Carter will soon be unveiled to Racing 92 supporters ahead of their Top 14 encounter with Toulouse, while his career as rugby's first €1m-a-year man will officially begin on December 1.
The league clash was originally set for Stade de France. However, the November 13 terrorist attacks on Paris have seen it relocated to the smaller Stade Yves-Du-Manoir.

The Toulouse clash will be the club's first league game since the attacks.
Carter has signed a two-year deal with the Parisian club and will become the world's highest paid rugby player upon arrival. The All Blacks outhalf won World Rugby Player of the Year after helping his side to the Webb Ellis trophy.
Racing coach Laurent Travers said, "Dan Carter is not going to change everything; this is wrong.
"In football, a team can be successful with only two or three individuals who shine. This is not the case in rugby. We are dependent on each other."
