Cristiano Ronaldo treated himself to a stunning new toy after Euro 2016 victory

Sweet wheels.

Your jealousy of Cristiano Ronaldo is warranted.

Another day, another trophy for the Portugal and Real Madrid star, although this one’s probably a little bit too big to fit in his cabinet. We say that, but he does have a whole museum dedicated to himself so he’d probably find space.

It’s already been a phenomenal year for Ronaldo. He’s added Champions League and the European Championship titles to his resume. Even after suffering a gruesome knee injury in the Euro 2016 final, he did one thing Lionel Messi will never do by taking home a winners’ medal for his country.

Now the Portuguese captain has taken some time to reward himself for his achievements, as it looks like he’s bought himself one of the most expensive cars in the world – the Bugatti Veyron.

The Real Madrid superstar showed off his new prized possession on Instagram with the caption “the animal arrive”. However, considering these cars have the power of around 1,200 horses, perhaps describing it as an animal is a bit of an understatement.

At £1.7m, the Bugatti Veyron doesn’t come cheap but we doubt he’ll mind too much considering it would take him roughly a month and a half to earn all that back.
