Just a week after Mayweather earned the easiest $9 million of his career with a first round stoppage victory over Tenshin Nasukawa, Conor McGregor made it known that he wanted to face off with the Japanese kickboxer next.
Mayweather didn't have to get out of first gear in the exhibition contest, the legitimacy of which has been questioned by many, and 'The Notorious' is eager to get a similar payday by travelling to Tokyo for a mixed martial arts exhibition with Nasukawa.
Nasukawa has named his terms for the bout by demanding McGregor fight under kickboxing rules and weigh no more than 128lbs, which makes the match-up something of an impossibility considering the fact that the Irishman struggled to make 145lbs in his days as a featherweight.
"I wish to go to Tokyo to face Tenshin Nasukawa in a Mixed Martial Arts exhibition bout. Before this summer," McGregor tweeted in the early hours of Monday morning.

"Please arrange this, this instant. Yours sincerely. The champ champ."
McGregor's Paradigm Sports Management stablemate, Cris Cyborg, wasted no time in following McGregor's request up with one of her own.
Cyborg is pushing for a rematch with Amanda Nunes after losing her UFC featherweight title to her fellow Brazilian at UFC 232 last week but if that fight doesn't come to fruition, Cyborg also wants an exhibition bout on McGregor's undercard in the Japanese capital.
