The fight where nobody lost.

Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are two of the most commercially sound men in sport, and they really were a match made in heaven in terms of creating the biggest ‘money’ fight of all time.

The fight was confirmed almost three months ago, and it is estimated that Floyd Mayweather has collected more than $300million for himself in that period.

McGregor, despite losing, is estimated to make up to €100million for his three months’ work. It was no wonder, then, that despite his defeat, the Notorious was in flying form at his after-party in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Irishman was said to have been the life and soul of the party at Encore Beach Club, and it looked like his loss to Mayweather was the last thing on his mind.

McGregor took some time out from celebrating to have a chat with a Republic of Ireland and Premier League legend.

Ireland’s record international goalscorer Robbie Keane, who scored 126 times in the Premier League, was filmed having a heart-to-heart chat with the MMA star. Both men have roots in the Dublin suburb of Crumlin and seemed to get on well.
