Gardaí are investigating claims two pipe bombs were left at the scene

Two petrol bombs were thrown at Conor McGregor’s £2 million pub in Dublin on Wednesday night.

The MMA star was inside the pub when the attack occurred, hosting a taste testing event. Irish police (Gardaí) are investigating the attack as well as claims two pipe bombs were left at the venue.

Dublin-born McGregor bought the Black Forge Inn on Drimnagh Road in 2019.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to help with the investigation by providing them with dashcam footage from their cars recorded on the night in the vicinity of the pub.

A source told local news outlet Dublin Live: “There was two people allegedly spotted on scooters who passed the establishment at the time and next thing they were being chased by two others who had come out of the property.

“McGregor had been holding a taste testing menu in the pub at the same time so the alleged attackers may have assumed he was inside.”

No damage was done to the pub during the attack.
