Chelsea will add another goalkeeper to their ranks on Thursday, according to reports in Italy.

Asmir Begovic has covered admirably in the absence of number one Thibault Courtois, who remains sidelined with a long-term injury. However, the 28-year-old Bosnian is the only experienced keeper at Stamford Bridge currenlty available to Jose Mourinho. His backup is Jamal Blackman, a 21-year-old who has yet to make his senior debut for the club. Respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Marco Amelia will fly into London on Thursday to complete a medical and sign a contract with the club. The 33-year-old is currently a free-agent, and can therefore sign for Chelsea outside of the transfer window. His previous clubs include Genoa, Palermo and AC Milan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB1r4EaeOIM
