Following the game, Sky Sports caught up with Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill.
As David Luiz tried to interrupt, Fabregas shrugged him off to heap praise on matchwinner Michy Batshuayi.
Sprung from the bench to provide the spark after a season in which he only sparkled briefly, Batshuayi swept the ball home to become a Chelsea hero. Fabregas declared:
"This is the beauty of football. A player that doesn't play a lot and everyone thinks he doesn't count too much, and he goes and scores the winner for the championship.
"Football is f**king unbelievable!"
That exclamation forced Sky's Geoff Shreeves to profusely apologise as Fabregas, too late, corrected himself.
