Charlton Athletic officials have apologised after showing an image of the wrong person in a prematch tribute to the late Graham Moore.

There was a minute's applause in memory of Moore before the game with Cardiff, which took place at The Valley on Saturday afternoon. https://twitter.com/LouisMend/status/698522994721820672 However, an image of Alan Campbell was shown on the stadium's big screen, accompanied by the message 'Graham Moore 1941-2016'. Moore played alongside Campbell at Charlton during the late 1960s and early 1970s. He also played for Cardiff, Chelsea, Manchester United, Doncaster Rovers and Northampton Town. https://twitter.com/CAFCofficial/status/698537142428045312?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Plenty of supporters were unimpressed at the error. https://twitter.com/UniversalMSLtd/status/698537297218772993 https://twitter.com/CJW93/status/698537901005631488 https://twitter.com/a_mond2/status/698559524718931968
