Callum Hudson-Odoi has made it abundantly clear how he feels about Chelsea

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly told Chelsea that he will reject all contract offers and run down his current contract with the club in the event that they block his desired move to Bayern Munich.

The 18-year-old attacker has been subject to intense interest from the Bundesliga giants, who see him potentially having as big an impact in Germany as Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, and his Chelsea contract will expire in the summer of 2020.

The Premier League side are believed to have made a number of contract offers to the youngster, who has repeatedly rejected extending his deal out of fear that he will not be granted sufficient minutes in the first team.

He has appeared more frequently for the Blues since news of Bayern’s interest emerged, but according to a report by the Daily Mail, staff at Chelsea believe that it is a case of too little too late in terms of convincing Hudson-Odoi to stay.

While wingers Pedro and Willian are at an age where they would expect to gradually be phased out of the side, their continued presence in the starting line-up – combined with Chelsea’s recent signing of Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic – is likely to have helped make Hudson-Odoi’s mind up with regards to his future.

Should Chelsea reject further bids from Bayern and the player continue to refuse a new deal, he will be eligible to negotiate a free transfer to any side from January 2020 onwards. Chelsea however would be entitled to compensation likely totalling less than £1 million.
