Bristol City goalscorer made the most of moment with Pep Guardiola with amazing question

What else was he going to ask?

What else are you going to ask one of the best managers in the world?

Supporters reckon they’ve figured out what Aden Flint asked Pep Guardiola when they enjoyed a pleasant exchange on the pitch following Manchester City’s 3-2 victory over Bristol City in their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg clash on Tuesday night.

Flint scored an equaliser in injury time, setting up a dramatic finish before Kevin De Bruyne dashed all hope for the home fans with a last-gasp winner on the night, ensuring a 5-3 aggregate victory for the Premier League side.

Across both legs, Bristol City gave a terrific account of themselves against one of the most feared teams in all of Europe but it mattered little in the overall scheme of things as Guardiola’s side secured a spot in the League Cup final.

Flint’s goal provided some late excitement for the supporters who’d packed out Ashton Gate and the defender brilliantly made the most of his moment with the visitors’ manager when they spoke on the pitch after the full-time whistle.

Viewers reckoned that, when presented with the opportunity to ask anything of one of the most sought-after managers in the world, Flint went in an unexpected direction.

It certainly looked like Flint asked Guardiola why he removed the Stone Island badge from his jacket’s sleeve.

Guardiola endeared himself to many fans when he began sporting Stone Island gear, made famous by films like The Football Factory and Green Street, when he first arrived in England.

Flint seemingly wanted to know why the Spaniard had stopped proudly sporting the brand and we’d give absolutely anything to know Guardiola’s answer.
