Bournemouth are ready to spend £10m to secure the services of Wolves striker Benik Afobe.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is ready to beat the Cherries' previous record of £8m which they paid for Tyrone Mings over the summer.
The two clubs have reportedly agreed a fee, and the 22-year-old could join up with his new team-mates by the end of the weekend.
Afobe started his career at Arsenal but moved to Wolves during the last January transfer window for £2m after failing to break into the Gunners' first team. The Englishman has scored 10 goals in the Championship this season.
