And Borussia Dortmund will undoubtedly be hoping for a similar effect with the launch of their brand new "international jersey".
Having already released their home shirt a few weeks back, the German giants have now now unveiled a special new strip to be worn exclusively for their return to the Champions League.
Dortmund's distinctive yellow shirts rarely disappoint, and it could be argued that their latest offering is an upgrade on their current 'domestic' home shirt.
Made by Puma, the European shirt doesn't have the stripes seen on the shirt released a few weeks ago and the round collar has been replaced by a smart curved v-neck.
We definitely want one.

Dortmund have been drawn alongside Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Legia Warsaw in the Champions League group stages, so fans should see the new jersey on display at least three times in the weeks ahead.
