Borussia Dortmund’s brand new kit for the Champions League is sensational

These days, it's not often you see clubs releasing kits that are only to be worn in the Champions League or European competition.

Strange, really. Especially given that most clubs release three new kits a season, and usually aren't shy about exploring new revenue streams. Back at the end of the 1990s, you might remember that Manchester United had one. They even completed their famous treble while wearing it. And Borussia Dortmund will undoubtedly be hoping for a similar effect with the launch of their brand new "international jersey". Having already released their home shirt a few weeks back, the German giants have now now unveiled a special new strip to be worn exclusively for their return to the Champions League. Dortmund's distinctive yellow shirts rarely disappoint, and it could be argued that their latest offering is an upgrade on their current 'domestic' home shirt. Made by Puma, the European shirt doesn't have the stripes seen on the shirt released a few weeks ago and the round collar has been replaced by a smart curved v-neck. We definitely want one.
