Bookies in Wales invited the world to join together ‘in union against England’

Carl Kinsella

People outside of England generally don’t need much invitation to make fun of England.

For all the wonderful things they’ve produced over the years, we’ve seen from past failures how others enjoy watching England lose in major sporting tournaments.

A Paddy Power bookie in Cardiff has capitalised on this for the Rugby World Cup and erected a huge wall where people can leave their signature and a message of, presumably, abuse for England (to be mailed to Twickenham on a chariot).

Has it got many signatures? Well…
