Victor Valdes hits out at Manchester United treatment after Standard Liege debut

Let it go

Victor Valdes is man who feels he was wronged at Old Trafford.

And even though he is miles and miles away from nemesis Louis Van Gaal, he just can’t seem to let it go.

The Spain international left Old Trafford this month after a miserable time in England saw him play just twice for Manchester United, and has now joined Standard Liege in Belgium, where made a winning debut against Leuven in the Pro League

After the game, however, the goalkeeper took to his Instagram account to hit out at how he was treated at Manchester United and how lonely he felt being kept away from the first-team for eight months.

‘I’m very happy for my first win today with Standard!’ Valdes wrote.

‘And so happy for play again after 8 months working alone. Thanks to the Standard Supporters today, was amazing.’

He’s feeling the love that he was denied at Old Trafford, it seems.
