Allardyce and got to heaven...

JOE

You can’t keep a good man down.

Sam Allardyce has been appointed as the new manager of Sunderland. The news was announced on Friday evening as the footballing fraternity rejoiced about the return of the big daddy of English football.

Big Sam has signed a two-year deal with the club, with whom he played for a brief while in the early 80s, and will take charge of the Black Cats’ game at West Brom on October 17.

“Of course it’s a challenging job. But I hope to be able to help to bring the stability and success that everyone wants,” Allardyce said.

Welcome back you magnificent bastard, welcome back.
