According to some people, the dab is the worst thing in football since zonal marking, directors of football and those pesky foreigners taking jobs that belong to hard-working British managers like Ryan Giggs.
In other words, the criticism is - to put it mildly - a steaming pile of bullsh*t on the part of people who are afraid of change.
Well, one group who have embraced the dab as the opposite of bad (or just 'bad' spelled backwards, we're no experts here) are Bayern Munich. Or, more specifically, Bayern's American twitter account.
They responded to the impending return of the Champions League with this gif, which seemed to anger a Manchester United fan going by the alias of 'MysteryMartial' (the less said about that handle, the better).

This angered our friend MysteryMartial (seriously, what's that handle even supposed to mean? Is the mystery why he didn't come off the bench against Leicester?), who called on Bayern to be disqualified from the competition.

Now, far be it from us to suggest Manchester United fans are opening themselves up to some obvious replies when laying into another team's dabbing exploits.
Wait, did we say 'far be it from us'? That was a lie. Far be it from 'FCBayernUS', either.

Hey, maybe we've got this all wrong. Maybe MysteryMartial was just saying Bayern's version was just poorly executed. Dabbing's fine, you just need to do it properly, right?
Yeah, let's go with that.
