Ashley Cole could very well be returning to English football

Ashley Cole has openly admitted that he is considering a return to England.

The LA Galaxy left back has been linked with a move to Birmingham City in recent weeks and Cole has not distanced himself from the rumours by any means. Cole was recently asked whether he'd be interested in joining forces with Harry Redknapp at the Championship side and he didn't hesitate to reveal that he wouldn't be against that particular switch. The former Arsenal and Chelsea full back moved to Major League Soccer in January, 2016 and he has just a few months remaining on his current deal in Los Angeles, meaning he could move to Birmingham for free in January. Just last month, Redknapp discussed the potential approach for the ex-England international and he proclaimed a definite interest in adding Cole's experience to his squad.
