What the f**k is Arturo Vidal playing at?
He is one of the most revered and talented midfield players of recent years, but the Bayern Munich man seems intent on p**sing away his talent in a very literal sense.
Chilean newspaper El Mercurio report that the 28-year-old has been expelled from the Chilean training camp – for turning up stinking of booze after a visit to a local casino.
National team coach Jorge Sampaoli has had just about enough of Vidal’s antics and reportedly told him: “This was your last chance, but now you’re out.”
You may recall that Vidal was caught drink-driving during the Copa América earlier in the year, and only a teary apology saved him from being thrown out of the tournament.
He doesn’t seem to have learned from his mistakes, and the behaviour will be of concern to both his countrymen and his club manager Pep Guardiola.
