Southampton's Victor Wanyama is, according to The Mirror, Arsenal's main transfer target in the new year having been monitored by the club prior to his move from Celtic to the south coast.
The report claims that Wanyama's performances in England have convinced Wenger to make a move for the Kenyan international when the transfer window opens.
After Southampton paid over £12m to bring Wanyama to the club, it's not unthinkable that Wenger will be spending over £20m if he is to bring him to the Emirates.Explore more on these topics:
